Privacy Policy

This policy is a working draft for DreamClub's early-stage website and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.

DreamClub is operated by ARAZAS ("we", "us"), based in British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through club.dreamify.com (also club.arazas.com), why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

• Waitlist details you give us: your name, email, city and neighbourhood, the kinds of experiences you're interested in, and optionally your age range, how you heard about us and any note you add.
• Account details if you sign in with a Dreamify account: your email and login information, handled by our authentication provider.
• Basic technical data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and a one-way hashed form of your IP address used to prevent spam, collected by our hosting and database providers.

How we use it

• To keep your place on the waitlist and invite you to founding membership.
• To send you DreamClub updates you agreed to. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To decide which experiences, circles and cities to launch first.
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam or abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

Consent

By joining the waitlist you consent to the use of your information as described here. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We use service providers that process information only on our behalf: Netlify (website hosting), Supabase (database and accounts) and our email provider. If you choose a waitlist form hosted by a third party (such as Google Forms), that provider also processes your answers. Some providers may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember that you've seen our early-stage notice, and essential storage for sign-in if you use it. We don't use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information until DreamClub launches in your area and for a reasonable time after, or until you ask us to delete it, then delete or anonymise it.

How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the regulator as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask how it has been used. Email support@arazas.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Age

DreamClub is for adults. The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 19.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
